James P. Taylor has tendered his resignation, effective March 31, 2006, from his position as the Chief Financial Officer at PEER 1 Nework Enterprises.
In its announcement, the company's board of directors thanked Mr. Taylor for his contributions to the success of Vancouver-based PEER 1 during the almost five years he devoted to the company, and wished him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
PEER 1 also announced the appointment of Gary N Sherlock as PEER 1's new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1, 2006. Mr. Sherlock comes to PEER 1 after 14 years at BC Hydro, where his latest role was as the Director of Finance, Distribution Line of Business. Mr. Sherlock is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with 20 years of experience in executive positions in both corporate and operational roles in a multi-billion dollar environment.
"We are pleased that Gary has agreed to join the PEER 1 team," said Lance Tracey, PEER 1's President and CEO. "He will be an excellent addition to the senior management team, and we look forward to benefiting from his expertise."
Mr. Taylor has agreed to stay on until April 30, 2006 full-time, and for 60 days thereafter on an as-needed basis to assist with the transition.
