Internap Network Services Corporation and IT Channel Group launched their strategic marketing relationship at LinuxWorld & NetworkWorld Conference & Expo 2006.

IT Channel Group, a leading technology sales and marketing agency in Canada, will support sales of Internap performance-based IP networking solutions and products via co-marketing efforts as well as business and channel development activities.

“Internap solutions are complementary to our existing portfolio and are ideal for IT Channels strategy to expand into a new, innovative IP territory,” said Richard Bryer, IT Channel Group. “This agreement allows us to meet our existing client and partner needs faster and more effectively. We’re excited about helping Canada’s premier networking technology resellers connect their customers with leading route-control solutions by serving as the liaison to Internap product and services.”

Under the agreement, Internap expands its ability to reach a broad range of ISVs, value added resellers and distributors, consultants and systems integrators that are focused on providing solutions to help companies optimize the performance of their business-critical applications over IP networks.

Together the companies will promote Internap route optimization solutions, including the award-winning Internap Flow Control Platform and the Flow Control Xcelerator (FCX), which help overcome application performance issues. The appliances are ideal solutions for companies across a variety of industries, such as retail, gaming, financial services and entertainment, which require faster, more reliable use of the Internet.

"Many potential resellers and partners are beginning to embrace the benefits of route-control and WAN optimization technology, but are unsure where to start," said David Abrahamson, vice president of global sales, Internap. "As business needs continue to converge around integrating the Internet into business processes, Internap is dedicated to working closely with IT Channel, not just on new customer acquisitions, but also to increase awareness of how route-control technologies can transform the Internet into a viable platform for businesses.”

LinuxWorld & NetworkWorld Canada Conference & Expo 2006 is the number one marketplace for management and IT professionals to interact and learn about the newest applications and solutions and see demonstrations of leading information technology based products, services.  The event zeros in on technology hot spots, security, network management, VOIP, and Internet services, among others.
