Ontario-based Tech Pub Expert, Inc. has been acquired by Inmedius, Inc. of Pittsburgh, a technical information asset management company.

Tech Pub Expert provides high-quality services in designing and writing SGML and XML, technical and procedural manuals, training guides, elearning development, SCORM, and other forms of technical information. Tech Pub Expert also assists organizations to implement their own documentation strategies through consulting and training support services.

"The acquisition of Tech Pub Expert enables Inmedius to better support our customers in Canada, while providing highly skilled additional resources for the development of new products and services that support the authoring of technical documentation," explained Gary Schaffer, Inmedius President and CEO. "Tech Pub Expert has over 20 years experience in creating high quality ATA, S1000D, CALS, SGML and XML documents, utilizing the latest available software tools. Inmedius plans to leverage that expertise through the development of new offerings we will distribute globally through our offices located in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany."

"We are pleased to join Inmedius, a world class organization that continues to impress our clients and prospects throughout Canada," stated Andre Beaulieu, President and CEO, Tech Pub Expert. "We already work closely with Inmedius on several key aerospace and defense accounts in Canada. Inmedius' support of dual language configurations is a key capability for our French speaking clients in Quebec. Most importantly, Inmedius' comprehensive technical documentation lifecycle approach - delivering consulting, software, and technical and authoring services - sets it apart, and will lead to accelerated growth."

Beaulieu will serve as Managing Director of Inmedius Canada. The new Inmedius Canada office is located in Hawkesbury, ON.

A global leader in delivering performance-oriented applications that capture, create, manage and deploy technical information. Integrating those information assets within business processes is an Inmedius hallmark. Providing lifecycle solutions to aerospace, defense and technical publications worldwide, Inmedius enables its clients to share an unprecedented level of productivity and efficiency. Easy to implement, maintain and use, the Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite makes every facet of an ASD S1000D project possible.
